1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and HONG KONG JOYKO MEDIA VENTURES LIMITED, operating under the brand "JOYKO" ("Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our").

You acknowledge that accessing the Platform from any jurisdiction is at your own initiative, and you are solely responsible for complying with local laws applicable to your use.

JOYKO provides access to curated digital entertainment content, including serialized short-form dramas and related audiovisual media ("Content"). All Content is licensed from third-party content partners ("Providers"), who warrant they hold all necessary rights and comply with applicable laws.
Current Service Scope: The Service is offered exclusively via the website. Paid subscription is required for access to premium Content.
Services Not Offered: As of the Last Updated date, we do not provide:
- Live streaming, adult live streaming, or real-time broadcast services;
- Virtual currencies, tokens, wallets, or stored-value balances;
- User-generated content (UGC) upload functionality;
- Standalone mobile applications distributed through app stores.
Future Features: References to future features are informational only and do not constitute a current offering. Any additions (e.g., mobile apps) will require updated Terms and regulatory review.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirement
The Service is intended solely for individuals who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

- You are not prohibited from using the Service by applicable law;

5. Content and Intellectual Property

- All Content and Platform materials (branding, software, design) are protected by intellectual property laws. Content is owned by or licensed to us from Providers.
- Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access Content for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification of Content is strictly prohibited.
5.2 Content Compliance and Platform Review
- Providers bear primary responsibility for Content compliance with applicable laws.
- We conduct periodic random checks of Content (at least quarterly) to ensure alignment with these Terms and applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove, restrict access to, or reject any non-compliant Content without prior notice.
- You may report non-compliant Content by contacting support with specific details (URL, timestamps, screenshots).
5.3 DMCA / IP Takedown Procedure
If you believe Content infringes your intellectual property rights, contact [email protected] with:
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material;
- The Platform URL where the material is located;
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized;
- Your contact information and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.
We will respond within 10 business days and may remove or restrict access pending resolution.

Effect of Termination
Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations accrued prior to termination. You may access paid Content until the end of the current billing period.
Account Deletion
Upon termination, we may delete your account and related data, except as required by applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- As-Is Provision: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties (including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement).
- No Liability for: (1) Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; (2) Data loss, corruption, or unavailability; (3) Third-party content or service failures; (4) Service interruptions due to technical issues, maintenance, or force majeure; (5) Content accuracy or completeness.
- Liability Cap: Our aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any third-party claims, losses, or damages arising from: (1) your use or misuse of the Service; (2) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (3) your infringement of third-party rights (including intellectual property or privacy).
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense of any claim at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure"), including natural disasters, war, riots, government actions, power outages, or software/hardware malfunctions.
14. Assignment and Severability
- You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
